Dataset Identification:

Resource Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Navigation system during Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0205 conducted in 2002 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Dan Costa). These data files are of MGDS:Nav format and include Primary Navigation data and were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): SO GLOBEC:Winter Distribution and Activities of Sea-ice Microbial Communities in the Western Antarctic Peninsula , SO GLOBEC:Optical Environment of the Western Antarctic Peninsula, SO GLOBEC:Winter Ecology of Larval Krill: Quantifying Their Interaction with the Pack Ice Habitat, SO GLOBEC:Seabird Ecology Using Observations and Diet Samples, and SO GLOBEC:Foraging Ecology of Crabeater Seals, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): ANT99-09933, ANT99-10098, ANT99-10122, and ANT99-81683.
