Underway Hydrographic, Weather and Ship-state Data (JGOFS) from Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0301 (2003)

Dataset Identification:

Resource Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Thermosalinograph, Turner Designs 10-AU-005 Fluorometer, Fluorometer, Knudsen 320BR Subbottom Seismic system, Meteorological Sensor, Echosounder Sonar, and Navigation system during Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0301 conducted in 2003 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Lou Bartek). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Salinity, Conductivity, Bathymetry, Temperature, Navigation, Fluorescence, Meteorological, Visible Radiation, and Infrared Radiation data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Transit, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OPP00-87392.
